The staff of this web site are aware of three GE-radio oriented mailing lists...
There WAS a list that was oriented to the GE Land Mobile Radio products overall, but it seem to have evaporated.

The first supports the MASTR II Series of equipment.

The second supports the MASTR III Series of equipment.

The third supports the Orion Series of equipment.

How it works:

If you subscribe in the Email message mode and you or someone else posts a message, it is immediately sent to all the others on the group within a few moments.   If others happen to be reading their mail at that time, an immediate response is likely.  If you are subscribed in Digest Mode, you will see a days worth of messages arrive once a day in a single mail digest.   If you are currently logged into the Web Only mode, the group is updated immediately and hitting reload or refresh will allow you to stay on top of things.

• The Email Mode is the most popular because one on one or roundtable discussions happen frequently.
• The Daily Digest Mode type subscription will send you one large email once a day.
• Again, there is also the choice to subscribe to the group and receive no email messages.  In this mode you simply go to the web page for the group and read (and post or reply to) the messages on the web.

Who these groups are for:

• Discussion of any facet of the specific product line.
  
  
• For Sale items are allowed, just keep the items related. Pointers to eBay auctions for personally owned equipment are fine.
  
  
• Please post For Sale items no more than twice a week, and when they are sold please post once more saying that they are gone. This way you won't get a message out of the clear blue sky a year later (from a brand new group memeber that is reading the old messages) asking if it is still available.

Do's and Don'ts:

• Discussion of the FCC Rules, Proper Repeater Usage, Motorola vs. GE, bashing the ARRL, X vs. Y and personal attacks are not allowed.   This is not to say you cannot give your opinion, just keep it civil and don't compare it religiously against another.
  
  
• When replying to questions posted on the group, take a bit of time, be thorough and don't hurriedly reply just to be the first.  Try to quote the pertinent parts of the original message so people that land in the middle of a thread have some relevance and don't get lost.
  
  
• Also, don't flame other people or be brand loyal (GE vs. Motorola) as this gets nowhere in solving a persons problem.  We are all here to learn and to help each other.
  
  
• Again, contentious discussion of FCC rules and the ARRL are not acceptable on these groups.   Nothing ever gets respolved, and the argument just creates hard feelings all around.

In the header or the footer of each message is a clickable link that will take you to an unsubscribe option.
