Why are we offering replica preselector coil replacements?

Replica Coils placed into your MICOR front-end casting:
This is a conversion of your equipment.

I can install replica 132 - 150.8 MHz resonator coils into your casting and return it to you.

How much, and what do I need to do?
Send me just the casting with original coils intact and prepayment - US $60.00 to the address below. I will recoil your preselector with replica 132 - 150.8 MHz resonator coils and return it to you. Price includes return shipping in the US via USPS Priority. Please allow three to four weeks from the time you send me the casting until you receive it back. This allows a week each way in shipping and a week or so here in the shop for modification.

**  No junk please, send the factory original casting with unmodified coils and cover intact for conversion. ** 
The 12 screws that hold the casting to the receiver circuit board DO NOT need to be sent.

Complete MICOR receiver conversion available:
This is a conversion of your equipment.   Conversions are done following the information that can be seen here.

Modification of your preselector and high-band receiver RF - I-F board to properly tune the 2 meter ham band is $100.00 per receiver.  Price includes return shipping in the US via USPS Priority.

I offer a complete receiver conversion for either the 150.8 - 162 or 162 - 174 MHz MICOR high-band receiver to 2 meter ham band (142 - 150.8 MHz.)

Conversion includes changing all necessary parts on the circuit board itself and helical resonator modification as seen above.  The modification insures that a High-Side injection crystal will properly work throughout the local oscillator chain as intended by the factory for the 142 - 150.8 MHz receiver.

So, how do I get the complete receiver conversion with replica preselector coils?
Send US$100.00 prepayment with your receiver to the address below.
