Concept:
Remove a diode on receiver interconnect board so keyed A- does not
mute receiver.
Description:
On some MICOR® compa-station basestation configurations there is
a diode on the receiver interconnect board, (the board that lays horizontal
between the backplane and receiver board) that mutes the receiver when
the transmitter is keyed. This diode is to be removed for duplex or repeater
service as per Motorola note 956 in the manual.
Benefit:
Receiver will not be muted when transmitter is keyed.
Modification:
Remove CR 957 on receiver interconnect board.
