Connecting
a CAT to a |
Connecting a CAT controller to a Kenwood TKR-750 or TKR-850 Repeater can be accomplished
easily by following these two steps.
Step 1 The COR will be active high so dipswitch #1 should be set to the OFF position.
Step 2
To set the repeater's AUX Input/Output 5 accessory connector pin #24 as a COR output and the AUX Input/Output 6 accessory pin #25 as a TOR output click on (EDIT). From the drop down box click on (Function Port). Set the ports as shown in the table.
To disable the repeater's internal timers click on (EDIT). From the drop down box click on (Optional Features). Set the Repeater/EXT-PTT timeout timer to (OFF) and the Repeater Hold Time to (OFF). |
