Positive Current Transmitter PTT |
All CAT controllers key the transmitter by grounding the PTT line. However
some transmitters require a positive DC voltage to key. In these cases, a
switching device must be installed between the transmitter and the controller's
push to talk output. Use caution
when connecting an external PTT drive device to your controller.
Note: To prevent damage to the PTT integrated circuit, do not apply +12VDC directly to pin 10 on your controller. |
